By fully understanding and satisfying the needs of its clients, Terry Group has enjoyed constant growth since its formation in 1948 by Eric Terry.

Industry involvement
- Since 1978 Terry Group has been at the forefront of defining and formulating policy and direction for disability access industry legislation.
- Members of the Lift & Escalator Industry Association (LEIA). Our Managing Director is a past chairman of the Disability Lifting Product Group. Terry Group actively promotes improvements and quality standards in service and products.
- Part M Building Regulations We work with consultative bodies to help develop the latest amendments to Part M.
- CEN Standards. We working actively with Government legislators, the LEIA international representatives and the British Standards Institute (with whom we have worked since 1979) to establish European standards for lifting platforms, through-floor lifts and stair lifts.
- Constructionline. We are registered with Constructionline, which provides pre-qualified contractor / supplier lists to many Public Authorities.
- Client base. Our clients include most Local Authorities in the UK, plus household names such as TGIF, Costa Coffee, Diesel, John Lewis, English Heritage, Jarvis Construction, Seddon Construction and Ocean Princess Cruises.
