Steplifts
What do you think of when you hear the term "steplifts?" Many people conjure up all sorts of images of what steplifts might look like. However, steplifts are a cost effective alternative to ramps which can be unsightly and obtrusive. Steplifts are innovative mechanisms that transport wheelchair bound individuals from the external ground level up to their front doors either using bridging steps or travelling straight up to an upper level plinth protected by an interlocked gate.

There are two model types of Steplifts, the TSL500 which is a self contained unit that can travel up to 500mm and is suitable for mounting on a 100mm thick concrete base and can easily be installed in less than a day. The TSL1000 is similar to the 500 model, however, it can travel up to 1000mm. Both steplifts can be resited if necessary, which makes it a very attractive alternative to a traditional concrete ramp.
