Melody 2 Lift

Melody 2 Platform Lift

When faced with a wheelchair access problem to your home, ramping is often not feasible due to the considerable length required to achieve the recommended gradient. The Melody 2 platform lift has been designed to overcome just this problem and is available in various models to suit lifting heights up to a maximum of 3 metres.

The Melody 2 Platform Lift is suited to either outdoor or indoor applications, the design incorporates an integral ramp to eliminate the need for a pit, thus keeping building work to a minimum.

A major feature of the design is the lack of mast or support tower, minimising aesthetic intrusion into the environment.

The standard finish is maintenance free stainless steel but other materials or paint finishes are available to suit the surrounding decor. In the event of a mains power failure the lift features an emergency lowering facility.

POWER SUPPLY: 240V single phase supply ~ 50/60 Hz, 13A, with full 12V battery backup.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Interlocked safety gates. Pressure sensitive underpan which stops the lift should it touch an obstacle.
INTERNAL PLATFORM DIMENSIONS: 900mm x 1400mm version and 1100mm x 1400mm version
DESIGN STANDARDS: BS 6440 & CE compliance.
