Terry Lifts has secured a place on the Sunderland City Council framework for the supply, fit and maintenance of disability facilities, fixed mechanical equipment and prefabricated ramps.
The British lift manufacturer has been awarded Lot 3: Supply, fitment and maintenance of Through Floor Lifts. The agreement with Sunderland City Council (SCC) is worth £4 million and will be carried out over a four-year period with potential extensions.
The contract covers two storey houses, three to five storey maisonettes and flats built using traditional and modern methods of construction in the City of Sunderland.
The framework was established to ensure adaptations are delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.
Commenting on the framework success, Steve Hill, national sales manager for Terry Lifts said:
“We are very pleased to have secured a place on this framework and we look forward to providing SCC with first-class products such as our Harmony home lift, and service.”
