We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded new certifications for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management. Known as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007, the certifications demonstrate our ongoing commitment to our customers, employees and sustainable operation.
New certifications help to win more business
As a part of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA), our company already had the quality certification ISO 9001 in place, which is a pre-requisite for membership. However, the recent audit allowed us to update the certification to the latest 2015 version.
LEIA are currently introducing the health & safety management BS OHSAS 18001 as a new membership requirement. The 18001 and the environmental management certification ISO 14001 were becoming increasingly important, so we chose to acquire all certifications as a package.
“A large part of our business comes from bidding for projects and term tenders. Having these certifications in place has become a very common pre-requisite on tenders”, explains Kelvin Goodacre, Commercial Director.
