Do you live in or close to Northwich, Cheshire? If so, Terry Lifts is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious new installation assistant. Full product training will be provided. Driver’s licence and own transport is essential. Competitive package. On-going support and career progression.

The Role

The role includes assisting with the Preparatory works, Installation and Maintenance of our range of home and platform lifts throughout the country, primarily within 2 hours of our head office in Knutsford, Cheshire. Applicants need to reside in or be in close proximity to Northwich, Cheshire.

Own transport is required to travel to either the lead engineer’s home address or our factory in Knutsford and a full driving licence is required.

Current CSCS card is desirable but not essential.

We do not expect you to be from the Lift industry as full product training will be given.

Most important is an open-mindedness, willingness to provide colleagues with the highest levels of support and a genuine desire to assist a successful team in achieving an ever- increasing demand for its products.

Essential Skills Base:

Ability to use power tools and basic hand tools in a safe manner
A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
A methodical approach to problem solving
An understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace
Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
Good communication skills
