Your trusted responsibilities:
- To facilitate correctly specified “clean” sites for first time installations without abortive visits for Terry Group Trade/Dealers requiring support.
- Monitor trade/dealer projects from point of order to lift installation,
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Trade/Dealer companies.
- Provide survey training for trade/dealer personnel.
- Support Terry Sales network where required
- Liaise with Installations regarding installation scheduling
- To represent Terry Group in the field in all aspects of its business in a manner as to increase our reputation for professional and qualitative performance
Essential Skills Base:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to produce a CAD drawing, training on specific software provided.
- Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications
- Ability to overcome site problems and negotiate with tradesmen on site
- Ability to interpret client and end user requirements
- Awareness of the needs of persons with impairment
- General understanding & application of current Building Regulations as they apply to our works (ramps, balustrading, step heights, building structure)
- Technical understanding of building works and DDA requirements for disabled access.
- Computer literate
- Ability to plan own time, diary & journeys to maximise the number of visits, which may include the requirement for overnight stays.
Core Responsibilities of the Role:
- To manage multiple Trade/Dealer sites to a high standard to ensure “right first time” installations
- React in a timely manner to work schedule as required to meet with Installation deadlines.
- Carry out additional functions as requested by Sales management to support as required on RSM surveys
- Comply with all TGL policies & procedures, with reference to all Health & Safety policies
