After 53 remarkable years, it is with both pride and a touch of nostalgia that we announce the retirement of former chairman and owner Peter Morrey, whose journey with Terry Group Limited began at the age of 25.

Peter’s leadership transformed the company from a small team into the thriving organisation it is today, marked by innovation, two factory moves, and a steadfast commitment to improving lives through our products.

Peter’s story is one of passion, creativity, and genuine care for people—both within the company and beyond. From designing products that make a real difference to nurturing teams that carry forward Eric Terry’s original vision, Peter’s legacy is woven into every aspect of our business.

Throughout the years, Peter has worked alongside talented and dedicated colleagues, many of whom remain part of our family. His gratitude extends to all employees, past and present, whose contributions have shaped the company’s success. He also acknowledges the vital role of our suppliers and customers, and especially Sarah, his wife, who joined him in the business over 25 years ago and has worked with him every day since.

As Peter steps down, he and Sarah have ensured that the company’s values will endure, with Bruno Independent Living carefully chosen as the new custodian. Their confidence in the future is matched by their appreciation for everyone who has been part of this journey.
