With over 50 years’ experience in the lift industry, Terry Lifts possesses unique capability in design, manufacturing, project management and after care.
The original company was founded in 1948 by Eric Terry, a Cheshire-based engineer who developed the first personal hand wound lift for a local family.
Terry Lifts has since enjoyed constant growth, now offering a full range of lifts for domestic and public access, as well as lift maintenance, repair and modernisation services.
Our lifts are installed worldwide through our extensive distributor network, which covers most continents, including Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia, Africa and South America.
Since 1979 Terry Lifts has been at the forefront of defining safety standards and formulating policy and direction for disability access industry legislation.
We actively work with government legislators, the LEIA international representatives and the British Standards Institute to establish European standards for lifting platforms, through floor lifts and stair lifts.
Our values are in the heart of what we do, helping us to form successful partnerships with all of our customers.
Integrity – We are open, honest and trustworthy in our dealings with our clients, workforce, suppliers and shareholders.
Client success – We will work at all times to ensure our clients’ success by creating exceptional value through innovative solutions, service and products.
