We have a duty of care to ensure that our lifts are installed correctly and safely, that they remain reliable through regular, professional maintenance and repairs are prompt and right-first time. We must be confident that the lift has been left in safe working order and will continue to operate trouble-free.
To achieve this, we offer comprehensive hands-on training at the Terry Lifts Training Centre in Knutsford.
From our purpose-built training centre, we provide training courses for our platform and through-floor lifts. These are typically one- or two-day courses covering repair and maintenance, or installation.
Each session consists of:
Returning to the classroom, each trainee will be asked to complete a set of questions relevant to the individual products that they have been trained on. Following the completion of the course, each trainee will be presented with a certificate of attendance.
Our trainers have over 40 years’ experience installing and maintaining the Terry Lifts range of products. They are NVQ qualified, including NVQ level 2 in platform lift installation, service, and repair.
To ensure our end users receive excellent aftercare and ongoing reliability, we take the training and support of service engineers extremely seriously. We monitor inbound technical enquiries to ensure we identify reoccurring problems quickly and encourage those who may require more assistance to undergo additional training.
We offer training and support to our agents, local authorities, and maintenance contractors.
If you are an occupational therapist, health care technician or clinician, please get in touch to find out how we can tailor our training courses to suit your requirements.
