Meet the team: Andy Brettell

Meet Andy Brettell, one of our Regional Sales Managers. With almost two decades at Terry Lifts, Andy combines extensive industry knowledge with honest advice, helping customers find the right lift solution for their home and their future.

What is your job title and how long have you been at Terry Lifts?

I’m a Regional Sales Manager. I joined Terry Lifts in August 2007 as a Surveyor Assistant in the Midlands and was promoted to Regional Sales Manager in 2008.

Terry Lifts is all about being “the one to trust”. How does that value shine through in your role?

It’s vital that our customers trust both what we say and the products we provide. We give people the confidence that they can access every part of their home safely and easily, even if they’ve been struggling to do so for years.

My role is to make sure every customer fully understands where their lift will be located, any impact it may have on things like furniture layouts or parking space, and most importantly, the positive difference it will make to their everyday lives.

Tell us something unique about the Terry Lifts team culture?

The sales team I’m part of probably has more combined years of experience in the lift industry than many of our competitors. We’re all equals and will always help each other out or cover a colleague’s area whenever it’s needed.

We celebrate each other’s successes because we work as one team, not as individuals.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of your role at Terry Lifts?

Visiting a customer after their lift has been installed and seeing the difference it has made to their quality of life and independence is incredibly rewarding. It’s always nice to see a customer smile.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing – any hobbies or interests?

I’m a keen golfer and an Aston Villa fan. I also enjoy trying different real ales whenever I’m out and about, and you’ll often find me taking part in a pub quiz with friends and family.
