Meet the team: Nic Lomas, Credit Controller

What is your job title and how long have you been at Terry Lifts?

I am the Credit Controller at Terry Lifts, and I have been part of the team for four years.

Terry Lifts is all about being ‘the one to trust’. How does that value shine through in your role?

The confidence of knowing we have reliable and quality products enables me to relay this to our customers – usually when asking for payment! It makes my job easier knowing that I am representing a company that genuinely delivers on its promises.

Tell us something unique about the Terry Lifts culture.

I have always felt supported and encouraged to offer improvements to my own role. There’s a real culture of trust and openness here, which makes it a great place to work and grow.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of your role at Terry Lifts?

Speaking to the people whose lives have been revolutionised by having a Terry Lift installed is incredibly rewarding. Hearing first hand how our products have given people greater independence and improved their daily lives makes what I do feel truly meaningful.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?

I have a wide range of interests! I love travelling, photography, painting, and all things artistic. Music is also a big part of my life, and I enjoy singing in a choir. When I’m not indulging in my creative side, you’ll find me out walking our dogs or spending quality time with my five grandsons.
