Terry Lifts provides wheelchair access solution for Horse of the Year Show 2022

Terry Lifts is celebrating another successful installation at this year’s Horse of the Year Show.  The British lift manufacturer supplied event management company Grandstand Media Ltd with its Classic Melody 2 vertical platform lift for the duration of the 2022 five-day equestrian event.

The lift provides temporary wheelchair access to the raised hospitality area at the end of the Andrews Bowen International Arena at the NEC, Birmingham.  It is sited in the same position each year.

Steve Bell, director of installations for Terry Lifts says:

“The preparation work was perfect.  I have been carrying out this installation for over 10 years now and not once have we arrived and found it anything but perfectly prepared to accept the lift.  The overall organisation is first class.  We are very proud of our long-standing relationship with Grandstand Media Ltd.”

This lift is used exclusively by Grandstand Media Ltd.  Prior to despatch, the lift is pre-assembled in the Terry Lifts factory, tested and re-packed ready for installation.  This year, after running faultless, the lift was removed and palletised for transportation back to the factory where it is protected and stored ready for use in 2023.
