We were incredibly proud to once again support Disability Awareness Day DAD2025 as an event sponsor, standing alongside hundreds of dedicated organisations to celebrate accessibility, inclusion, and community spirit.
Held on Sunday 13th July at Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington, DAD 2025 marked the event’s 34th year, and it certainly lived up to expectations! Co-ordinated by the inspirational Dave Thompson MBE DL, DAD is recognised as the world’s largest ‘not for profit’ voluntary-led pan-disability exhibition, and it continues to grow in impact and popularity every year.
This year’s theme, “Access All Areas”, perfectly aligns with our mission at Terry Lifts. As a British manufacturer of public access and home lift solutions, we’re committed to helping people live more independently and confidently.
Our National Sales Manager, Steve Hill, and Regional Sales Manager, Bob Shippen, were on hand throughout the day to meet visitors and answer questions about our product range. It was a brilliant opportunity to share how our lifts can transform lives and help make homes, venues, and public spaces safer and more accessible.

DAD 2025 welcomed families, individuals, and professionals coming from across the region and beyond. The event featured a vibrant mix of:
Visitors were also able to explore a wide range of information on health, social care, employment, education, mobility, assistive technology, transport, and more; all designed to provide insight into what’s available locally, regionally, and nationally.

As a Cheshire-based company, we’re passionate about supporting events that reflect the values we stand for: accessibility, independence, and community. DAD 2025 wasn’t just a chance to showcase our lift solutions, it was a reminder of how important it is to come together to raise awareness, break down barriers, and celebrate all abilities.
We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand, chatted with the team, or shared their own experiences with us. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a positive, uplifting day and a special thank you to everyone who supported the event behind the scenes. The members of our production team Nia, Nigel and Tom who volunteered their time to assist in the set up, and our engineer Nathan for setting up our portable lift that will provide access to the main stage.
