If you are looking for a new career in Cheshire, family owned lift manufacturer, Terry Lift Group, has a vacancy for a Mechanical Assembly Operative at its Knutsford Head Office.

We don’t expect you to be in the lift industry currently and full product training will be given and knowledge of the company, its operations and details of all attributes will be provided during the initial phase.

Skills and Experience Required

Good experience gained as a Mechanical Assembly Operative is ESSENTIAL.  

Electrical experience would be a bonus. 

The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and experience:

• Able to carry out some manual handling tasks
• Able to handle small components
• Flexible and enthusiastic attitude
• A good team player

About the Role

• Assembling components to create sub-assemblies
• Building and testing of a range of different components, working to a high level of detail
• Completion of Test Certificates and Packing Sheets as necessary

Working Hours:

39 hours per week.  Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm.  Friday 8am – 1pm
