Your trusted responsibilities

You will be collecting from our production facility in Knutsford, Cheshire on average, twice a week and safely transporting our lifts to site the remaining days of the week, primarily in the Southeast of the country. 

You’ll also assist the Installation Team Leader in all aspects of the Installation or Service and Repair of Home Lifts, Platform Lifts and Stairlifts through to completion ensuring our reputation for quality is upheld in all aspects of site work.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in this role:

  • To assist in the Installation, service and repair the company’s products in a safe and competent manner
  • Ensure adequate precautions are taken and maintained to safeguard the customer, jobholder, other employees, and the public from any hazards connected with his work.
  • Complete all paperwork required by the company in an accurate & timely manner 
  • Carry out additional functions as requested by management
  • Carry out weekly maintenance checks of the company vehicles and report any defects as necessary
  • To keep the work areas clean and tidy at all times
  • Maintain the vehicle stocks to ensure we retain the necessary equipment to complete all installations on time
  • To work away from home as requested to meet the needs of the business, occasionally at short notice
  • Comply with all company policies & procedures, with particular reference to all Health & Safety policies.

 

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll also have the following essential skills:

  • Basic understanding of working on Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
  • Good communication skills
  • Awareness of the needs of persons with impairment
  • The ability to use power tools and PPE in a correct and safe manner
  • Driving large transit style vehicles
  • Clean driving licence is desirable 
  • A valid CSCS card is desirable
  • A methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
