Terry Lifts has a vacancy for an installation assistant / delivery driver based in or around Warwickshire / Northamptonshire, and ideally near the motorway network.  Role includes travel.  Driving licence essential.  Essential skills required.  Competitive salary.  Career progression and opportunities.

The Role

A vacancy for an Installation Assistant/Delivery Driver has become available to support our ever increasing order book.  The role includes collection of lifts from our head office, delivery to site and assisting with the installation of our range of home and platform lifts throughout the country.

Most important is a willingness to provide colleagues with the highest levels of support and a genuine desire to assist a successful team in achieving an ever increasing demand for its products.

You will enjoy working within a challenging environment where ambition is rewarded and you will be recognised for your contribution which to date, in your current role, may have gone unnoticed.

Applicants require the following:

Essential Skills Base

  • Basic understanding of working on Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
  • Good communication skills
  • Awareness of the needs of persons with impairment
  • The ability to use power tools and PPE in a correct and safe manner
  • Driving large Transit-style vehicles
  • Clean driving licence and able to travel & be away from home through the week as required
  • A methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner

The role includes travel and regular overtime, and applicants must be prepared to stay away from home where required

A full driving license is required and a company vehicle will be provided for business use only
