Installation Assistant (Field-based) Ref: TGJOB030

Terry Lifts is seeking an enthusiastic, open-minded individual to join its installation team. The installation assistant must be located in Burnley or Colne based (ideally no more than five miles from either location). The role is field-based and requires a full driving licence with access to own vehicle. Travel + regular overtime. Essential skills required. Training provided. Competitive salary.

The Role

The role involves assisting with the Preparatory works, Installation and Maintenance of our range of home and platform lifts throughout the country, primarily within a 2-hour radius of Colne. Applicants need to reside in or in close proximity to either Colne or Burnley, Lancashire.

Own transport is required to travel to the lead engineers home address or on occasions, meet up with other engineers so a full driving licence is required.

This role also involves considerable travel and regular overtime, therefore applicants must be prepared to stay away home if required.

Current CSCS card is desirable but not essential.

We do not expect you to be from the Lift industry, as full product training will be given.

Essential Skills Base

Ability to use power tools and basic hand tools in a safe manner
A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
A methodical approach to problem solving
An understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace
Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
Good communication skills
