Terry Lifts is recruiting for the role of Service and Repair Support. Based in Knutsford, Cheshire. Full-time (39 hours). CV and cover letter application only – via email.

Job Purpose Summary:

To provide support to the Service, Repair and Technical departments ensuring that the highest level of customer service is always provided to our clients.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

Excellent communication, administrative and organisation skills
Good time management
Basic geographical knowledge of the UK
Professional telephone manner
Technical background with some basic mechanical and electrical experience would be beneficial
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and PDF expert is essential
Ability to deal with customers in a polite and courteous manner
Have an awareness of persons with varying disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

To assist the service and repair scheduler with a variety of tasks such as, raising jobs, organising parts for engineers, scheduling appointments with customers, raising further work, inputting job sheets, phone support and quoting customers for return works
Provide first line phone support for breakdown calls to reduce the need for site visits
Ensuring parts are available for the scheduled visit
Identify required parts to avoid return visits
To assist the technical support department with parts enquiries and basic technical queries
To keep accurate records of conversations and emails within our IT system
Assist with the inbound phone calls to the business
Provide cover for the service and repair scheduler during annual leave
Additional administration tasks as requested to suit the needs of the business

Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 09.00 – 16.45

Friday: 09.00 – 17.00 (potential to be another day in order to achieve 39 hours)
